    Skat trak sizing

Hey guys I ran the paddles I am selling on the forum for a few trips last year and they worked great! No issues and handled awesome.
Now that I am going with the skats I am
Afraid to order a 26" I know it's like a 28" but I don't want some dinky tire on there,
I like the taller look, and if I was regeared I would run the 30" skats all day but I am
Not! Just a DASA full system exhaust and reflash, which by the way added some serious power to the ground. So if anyone has 26" skats on their yxz can you please post some pics! Thanks guys

Takes more power to spin in sand, so unless your powered up beyond stock, stay with stock or smaller sizes. That's my 2cents after reading all the forum talk on this

    Maybe these couple of vid's will help illustrate -- -- 26 X 12.50 X 14 10 paddle Scats/Rear:

    In Action:

Bone stock engine/stock gearing -- Hope this helps .. ..

They are definitely the correct size for stock gear, that's for sure, but I would love to go to with a 28" (30")

If you go to a 28" I wouldn't do anymore than 8 paddle. I would call Tim at Xtreme tire in Phoenix he will tell you the best set up to run & get you the proper roll out on the tires you purchase. Xtreme has their own tire carcass which Skat molds their paddles to & is also lighter than anyone else's Skat's that are made from ground down random tires. I wouldn't even consider running 30" Skats on a non turbo yxz, it puts a serious load on the machine, way too much tire even if you run a 8 paddle set-up. I tried 30" skats 8 paddles & buffs on my NA Maverick stage 4 and my max rpm was 200rpm lower than when I ran my 12lb each heavier dirt tire set up out in the desert. I sold them after one trip, they looked awesome but way too much traction, the buffs grab more traction than one would think for being a smooth tire. Just my experience.

I would run the extreme paddle before I'd run the hauler paddle but that's just me.

Hauler will have more give. The Extreme is effectively same paddle (same height and profile) but more rigid. Did someone recommend the Hauler?
