2.5 rolls. High speed. The car went air born and didn't even break his whip or radio antenna.

This was an end over end at about 8-10 mph stock roof support, thank God I wear a helmet it cracked the helmet . Brick City makes great cages but almost any manufacturer would be better than stock.

After a tip in my machine with the stock cage, the YXZ shimmied back to the parking lot, no damage besides the cage. I went with Krash for my cage, paid less than $1500 shipped and I painted myself. After the new Cage, I landed on the roof doing about 60mph and a 40ft launch or so at the dunes. The only damage was the aluminum roof. The PRP harnesses held me tight in the seat both times.

How many rolls are the stock roll cages good for?-img_5344.jpg Ocotillo 3 weeks ago. Slow roll due to no talent driver (not me). 2 passengers, both OK no injuries but had Dragonfire harnesses. Only damage was a crushed mirror and cracked front and rear fenders. I patched them up with wire ties and on to Glamis this weekend. Keep your hands in and slow rolls seem to be fine.

I have a ‘16. Running slow in first gear I flipped in the sand. Cage collapsed and broke my wife’s neck. Doctor said it’s lucky she’s alive. I didn’t even bruise my shoulders on the seat belts. No other damage to the car but the roof cage.
We both had full helmets and 4 point harnesses. The weakness of the early cage is criminal. Call Moses at brick city. Don’t drive it till you fix it.

Yes a stock cage is good for one roll and it will be mangled beyond recognition. I rolled a stock wildcat, multiple tumbles off a hill climb, and I survived with no helmet and stock seatbelt.

I had a passenger that day, and he elected not to ride with me up that hill climb. It was a good decision because I think he would have been killed judging by the shape of the cage. My side held up just well enough.

Gixxerbill if there is any doubt in you mind just un bolt that stock tinker-toy swing-set thick cage and hold it in your Hand and you will know what to do.

Okokok ya'll convinced especially about harding10's wife. What is the cheapest good cage I get that will hold up in a roll with a top. NO WELDING. And cheapest double harness. I am not saying I am cheap but I burned through 4k changing the gears out do to dealer dropping my tranny. Seem like these factories are begging for lawsuits for putting on such crappy cages when it would cost them that much more at the factory to do one right.
