This is my second hand built build for the yxz. The first one is on the old man's yxz now.
Here is quick spew list off the top of my head..(some is what's been done some is parts to be integrated)
je 9.5:1 pistons
All stainless tubing
manifold is as short as I could go at a 1.75 tube
Cxracing ball bearing turbo (I can't remember the exact specs off the top of my head right now)
2.5" exhaust dia
Fuel system yet to be decided (weller injectors, upgraded pump and regulator, or some type of addition injector setup)

For those who build there own turbo system. Give RPM a call great guy he has specs for turbo header flange for the yxz. It's a good starting point for those who need it. A lot of heat is put in this area. the flange helps controlling that heat so no cracks form. Good starting point. PS nice job. Good to see others build there own system make it the way you want. Great job. Looks good
Boe great tip on the flange i did briefly search for one myself but did not find one. I have a mill here at the house but the time to machine one thick enough...
Here are some pics pre and post transplant from my z to the ss of the first build. I ran it a 6.5psi hard on the stock bottom and it walked on alot of other setups including my cousins supercharger but it was time to step it up. (plus the old man was really hurting running stock on his ss)
The new setup is planned to be ran right around 10-12 psi on pump with one tune and 15-20 on race fuel on another tune. Still researching on factory ignition timing and it's limits. ( quick note: thank you to sparky and all the info he puts out there!)
Rods showed up today. Carrillo provides the big end bore dimension and yamaha provides colors and stamping on the crank and stock rods.Trying to find a way to spec my bearing without having to order all the color options. Need to find a:
color to dimension conversion.
Or a factory rod stamp # to dimension converson.
No sorry this is just a custom build for myself.
