IF its running good and has been maintained then yes, thats a pretty good deal. It appears that most of the relevant running and safety mods have been done, as well as performance mods short of going turbo. So, yeah, if it runs good and they have been maintaining the engine and trans, thats a good price, IMHO. That said, ask if Weller did a stage 2 spring kit when they did the shocks. Typically if your running an aftermarket cage they recommend the stage 2 springs when they revalve the shocks. But, that would just be icing on the cake really.

Okay cool thank you. That’s the kind of feedback I’m looking for. This would be my first utv but I’m close to the dunes and trying to keep my budget around 10k or lower. From everything I’ve read on yxz not having to deal with belt issues is pretty much what sold me. Plus they seem like pretty reliable machines at a decent price!

I'd like to correct you on one thing. The YXZ is decidedly not a Utv. There is absolutely no "utility" about it.

This machine is useless at pushing a plow, pulling a trailer, or pretty much anything a UTV does.

What it excels at is sport riding.

As for reliability. In 6 years, about 6k miles I have had one breakdown. The CPS went out last year. Thats the only failure I've had. And that happened as I was loading up for a weekend trip.

In 2023 we drove our YXZ onto the ferry to Newfoundland, 1000km later we drove back on the ferry to Nova Scotia. There was no support, no plan B, it just had to run day after day. While carrying everything we needed.

Rode that thing like it was a rented mule.

If you go for it, enjoy. It's like no other machine out there.

Haha yes sorry still figuring out terminology and what not. Yes I definitely would only be using it for fun. Everything you just posted is making me want it more! Just exploring around specifically for the yxz now just seeing what’s for sale. I really appreciate your replies thank you!
