Hello,
I just wanted to throw this

"How-To access and/or remove your YXZ SS MCU / TCU"

because, I'm not sure if it's just mine, but the YXZ service manual sucks. Easily the worst I've ever used. It would have you believe there are 22 steps needed prior to this. There aren't.

Tools needed:
10mm socket
Swivel
Small Extension (3-4")

1: Assemble your socket wrench with extension, swivel, and socket.
Pro-tip: tape your swivel with duct tape so you have some rigidity AND flexibility. No more annoying flop everywhere all the time swivel.
2. Remove the 3 10mm bolts on the driver's side firewall (shown in picture).
3. Remove your MCU / TCU and ship to aftermarket tuner.
Pro-tip: Remove the rubber strap first, then pull the MCU / TCU out of it's tray for easier access to the terminals.

It's super easy, obviously, but a few pictures to help anyone trying to figure out where it is and how to get it.

Also, Alba calls it a TCU (Transmission Control Unit) while everyone else, including Yamaha, call it an MCU (Marvel Cinematic...wait, Motor Control Unit).
