Looking to see if somebody has had a similar issue 21,000 miles never had no problems engine light flashed on once or twice I parked it with the next day to put gas in it because it was low on the way back from the gas station it just died checked the fuse it was blown I put the replacement in to make it home when I started the machine it sounded like it was misfiring I replace the pump with OEM and it still was misfiring took it to the dealer because of the service recall on the fuel pump they replace the whole unit still engine code 39 Was maybe thinking a wire rub or a short in the wire cause from the fuel pump going out

39 Indicates a fault in the injectors. You might want to check and make sure the electrical connectors on the injectors are firmly seated, probably dab a little dielectric in each to keep moisture from causing issues.

I know it may be a little redundant to ask. But you did make sure that the codes were reset after the work was done. Unlike most cars, once logged the codes will remain even if the fault is corrected.

Ok guys I was on here week ago asking for help,,my yxz was making a bad knock sound coming from the tranny sounded like it was in the clutch basket checked it everything seemed ok,,then a friend said it was coming from the front of the tranny so I took it out and tore it apart gears looked good had some metal shavings shift fork has small scrap on one side straighten it up and I had 2 bearings that was sticking...would you guy think the bearings would have caused the issue I'm putting it all back together today,,,please post if you would have more information to send me before I put together thanks so much. Oh yeah and the clutches was in wrong but still seem.to work before it started the noise..

The dealer replaced the fuel pump sending unit and everything but the engine light was still on and I don’t think they hooked it up to the computer
Not throwing shade on the dealer... but, yeah... calling them out..

A YXZ isn't capable of resetting faults....

So, yeah. Rrset the computer, then see if it throws the same faults.

If it dies. I'd call out the dealer for failing to fix the problem.

@scarberryclifford8

Call out the issue on the original thread.

I'm afraid you won't get accurate response on another OP thread.

If you haven't heard on your original thread. Recommend you bump with more info on the issue.
