Aftermarket Accessories! What are you looking for!?

Hey guys we all know with every new SxS come Aftermarket Companies with all sorts of things. I know with out having specs r knowing what it looks like it is hard to tell but there is always a general need for things. Harnesses, bumpers, cage, wheels, so on and so forth. What I am wondering is what are you all going to be looking for and what are you thinking about and are you loyal to any companies who would you want to see come out with things and what laundry list have you made already!?

Me personally I am a big Racer Tech fan! I have worked closely with them in the past and always wanting to promote their products. I think it is obvious a harness bar will be a biggie in the beginning!

So let's here it what is everyone putting on their wish list and by who!?

I always get a custom roll cage built and add better more comfortable suspension seats with 5 point harness', just to get me riding safely.
Then comes lighting, radio and misc stuff depending on what items need to be improved, suspension, rims & tires, ect.
Racer Tech is going to be working on my Pikes Peak Maverick and I can't wait to see what they come up with for the YXZ.

I would be interested in a cage, exhaust, roof, wheels and tires for my YXZ.

Basic power modifiers like: Intake, exhaust, and a programmer.
Basics:
Harnesses
Gussets and Bracing (if needed)
Cage
Windshield (full and half)
Roof
Exhaust
Wheels tires
Shock work (please dont make us do this yamaha!)

I'm also big fan of racertech. High quality parts there.

With currently owning a Maverick, and having to deal with only a few vendors that supply parts, I really hope the aftermarket for this machine is on the magnitude that it is for the RZR.

Hell, who am I kidding, I'll likely end up customizing every piece I can..

Usually i go in phases
Phase 1:
Cage with aluminum roof and tabs for lights and whips (good fabricator buddy makes whatever i want)
Doors (pro armor in the past but not brand loyal) Really like the DFR doors for the turbo mavericks if they made something comparable for the yxz i would try them.
Harnesses (Team Tech are my absolute favorite but $$$)

Phase 2:
Cooler and mount (usually use AO Cooler)
Light Bars and Whips (Chinese lights from local guy, safe glow whips)

Phase 3: Radios (probably Rugged)
and anything else i find i need is usually part of this phase.

The kicker is i don't think i have ever gotten past phase 2 on any of my vehicles because i either don't want to spend the money or sell the vehicle to wait for something better to come out Haha! Sad i Know!

Lightbar, exhaust, fuel programmer, wheels/tires are always the first thing to get added. Depending on model.. aftermarket roofs are a big hit. Not sure but most places are way to expensive for lightbars. Can get a Korhee off Amazon for less than $100. It still needs the switch/relay/rollbar mounts though. Would be nice to have a kit designed for the buggy. A plug and play affair.
Skid plates and Harness setup are always our first mods, tires and wheels next. Need more info on specs to go from there though...

Hmmmm, the new Yamaha Wolverine comes with full welded skid plate already. Wonder if the YXZ does too.
Even if it does have full metal skids I would highly suggest a full set of UHMW skids from a reputable company such as Factory UTV. Unless the only thing you machine will ever touch is sand it is the best insurrance you can buy! I don't know how many times those skids have saved my ass while racing. We hit ruts that would burry our A-Arms and we are able to literally skid across. We actually got High-Centered on a train track rut one races and we were able to push our machine out by hand only because of the skids with out them I'd still be winch that damn machine! LOL Ask any rock guy that has used them if he will ever use any other skid after he tries them and see what they say!
Yeah I want something to cover my metal skid if they do. The last thing I want is something welded to my frame that can get bent, scraped and start rusting out. I would say the metal skids on the Wolverine are the least attractive feature on that machine IMO.

I must say the coverage here on Frank The Tank is Ridiculous i think you could just pull the tracks off and go sledding!
Dunno, I like the structural strength a full welded skid gives. It's sectioned so it would not be that hard to grind the welds and throw another on though.
I to like the structural thought of it but would still want to cover them up so I don't have to worry about denting bending or replacing the metal ones and for no more than they cost and weigh I think it would be well worth it. Maybe FactoryUTV can chime in with estimated full skid price and weight so we have a rough idea of what we are looking at. I can assure you they will be going on my Racer!

I think we'll definitely getting a YXZ in here to do some development with... Looking forward to this one!
