The Laughlin Desert Classic UTV Night Race will kick off a weekend of racing activities and will be held on Thursday night Oct. 11th, 2018 and presented by Baja Designs “The Scientists of Lighting”. This marks the first 100% night race in @bestinthedesert long and storied history of promoting off-road races and it’s only fitting that Baja Designs, one of the most recognized names in off road lighting, presents this historic event.

This Thursday Night! October 11th, 2018

Good Morning,

I was doing a little research on the Squadron kit and the lumens and watts information is different for various ads and forum conversations.

I called the shop and was driving so I didn't catch the gentleman's name and such.

The ad says 7200 lumens for the kit.
An update on the Squadrons says 3150 each (x4) so 12,600 lumen kit
Here on the forum it says 9400 lumens in a conversation.

I am interested on the rating for today since it seems either changes or updates have been made to the squadron or the kit is different than regular squadrons.

Thank you for your time,

Dwayne

The Squadron Sports have seen a few updates over the last couple years. We are working on updating the outdated information on the forum. The Squadron Sport now puts out 3,150 Lumens each

SAE Lighting - Update

Many people have heard information from myself and others at BD regarding SAE approved lighting. We are NOT releasing these until 2019 and can only share very few details until then. Expect more information in the New Year...

- Squadron Series housing
- Lights will be sold with or without Vehicle Specific Kits
- The goal is to have the pair of lights sell for under $300
- No information at this time on adapting SAE approved lens and optics to older Squadron Series Lights

Thanks for all of the interest. More details including an expected release date will be posted in the New Year :)
