So 998 cc 5 speed manual of some kind and 83.5 hp. The motor seems bigger than what most thought but the power is less than we assumed.
That's 83.5kw which converted to hp equals about 112 hp.

Yep, special editions and regular but looks like they all have EPS. That's a good thing.
EIM (kg) 820. What's this? I hope that isn't the weight because it equals a little more than 1,800 lbs!

I am curious about this as well, I was on another forum and people are saying it is the weight and the new Yami is heavy and under powered blah blah but then somebody came on and said that it is in fact not the weight.

Anybody know the straight skinny on EIM Equivalent Inertia Mass is what is supposedly stands for

As far as I know, it stands for Emissions Inventory Module. I could be wrong as hell though lol.

It says equivalent inertia mass in the paragraph at the bottom of the last page
That usually has to do with rotational mass.. Not a dry weight
This from another site
112hp, 5 speed manual (whhhaaattt?), and an “EIM” of 820kg (CARB rated the 2015 XP1000 EIM at 950kg). After some weight equivalencies are made using the XP1000s dry weight, this is an approximate dry weight for the Yamaha of about 1220lbs! That’s more than 100lbs LESS than the Polaris XP900! But they have also given an EIM for the XP turbo at 850kg, so who knows what this really means.
