Suspension will need to be revalved and new dual rate shock springs... or at very least some tuning from out of the box.

Video is real time, no change in speed.

Why should the video get pulled? This is actual real footage from utv scene.
It also held a nice straight line. Wasn't all over the place, n also wasn't fighting the steering a lot, looks like they went through it with ease except without the harnesses. But that's what u get when not harnessed in. Good clip. The car handled good. Thanks for the clip Kalop

Fast 50+ mph be a guess?

Here's original video. I was going to post it with 1st post... but the link didn't work, but now it should work below.

Thx for posting up 2nd video, was much more interesting to watch and listen to then the "Queen Version" haha!

When i hear reps say things like the transmission is bullet proof that excites me!

Curious why you think that? Don't believe they are tuned well out of the box? Also, I would be willing to bet that the standard springs on the YXZ are dual rate already. Single rate springs would be way too stiff in the initial stroke with that setup.

All I have heard from the intro was "suspension, suspension, suspension". People seem to love it.

Yea, I understand what your saying. To me a dual rate is 2 springs with an adjustable crossover in between. Just because yamaha labels the shock "dual rate" doesn't make it so. They also claim this is 1st sport SxS in industry??? (wth ??) In fairness, just because I say it's not dual rate doesn't make it so either. But the point is not to get in pissing match over terminology. The point is this ... when racertech or another vendor comes out with "2 springs and a crossover" that works with these shocks, I think you'll see a HUGE improvement. JMO

Dual rate is two springs and a cross over ring so not only can you have dual rates but have some adjust-ability as to when the second spring takes over. I have no idea if the suspension works, but we will see here shortly as these get out in the desert and dunes etc. Tim

They are claiming it's the first pure sport and it clearly is. Every dealer that gets a ride is saying the same thing, it's a game changer, it's fast, suspension is amazing, manual tranny is amazing and so on. Watch how it plays out, Can Am, Polaris and everyone else will all be offering some form of manual soon after this YXZ hits the streets.

Watch and see what Alex Reed at Raceworx does with these shocks. His revalve and dual rate spring set up is sweet. Dude know his craft. His magic on the Mav shocks made a big difference and these are the same brand, and dia. Podium shock
