I know on cars when using a MLS gasket, they want a very smooth finish, almost mirror like on the head and block.
I know it looks almost like a sand blasted finish but it's as smooth as glass, you can rake your fingernail across it and you can't feel a thing, feels like your scratching glass.I know on cars when using a MLS gasket, they want a very smooth finish, almost mirror like on the head and block.
How do you like the porting on the head? Is it worth the money... this is my next step. ThanksI'm keeping the same valves & springs. I don't know for certain if Dasa is behind the GYTR head.
I did a handful of mods with ported head in one shot. Alba Airbox spacer, GYTR air filters, GYTR Cam, and GYTR air stacks. Definitely felt a difference and was content. How do you like the porting on the head? Is it worth the money... this is my next step. Thanks

Dasa pricing is great. If you shop around holidays thru out the year, you can catch their 20% off sales. Only downside is you’ll incur additional cost to custom tune. I used a Bazzaz tuner on top of a full Graves flash I already had.
To answer your question. I started playing in the sand and went turbo. Otherwise I’d say it’s good route for staying all motor and where duning is not the priority.
So what was the outcome... is the machine faster with the head work? It's a soda blast finish. He also did work in the combustion chamber.
