Borrowed? So who is this person you borrowed your toy to? Have to say that had one bad experience growing up which leads me to never letting anyone borrow or even drive my toy, hell, my wife even would prefer not to drive it because.....
Name names and out this person to others that might have more to help. Just saying maybe someone runs across this person.

The person who borrowed my YXZ did so without my consent but told me aferward. He turned around and lent it to someone to pay off a debt. I do not know the name of the person that has it now. I do have the title and would plan to go over to retrieve my YXZ with a police escort.

IMO.
So the person that borrowed it(stole it) without your consent should be in police custody right now and it should be their job to find and locate your missing rig.

Judge judy would say your beef is with your "freind"...? call the cops on your Freind tell them he stole it. See how fast he gives up his other buddy. When/if you get it back don't expect it to be in good shape. And NOT telling the insurance company you know who stole it would be felony fraud and other insureds should not have to pay for your id10t friends lack of character.

Police are involved but can/will essentially do nothing. Self insured on the YXZ.

Person that took the YXZ is not a friend, met him by accident, but definitely know who he is and where he lives. The police know also and have talked with him. He is a very convincing liar, a convicted thief and is currently on bail for arson charges.

Unless you live in a bubble and never go out, you run across people all the time that you would never associate with or call a friend. For example, plenty of crooks, crazy people, and scum bags even when you go to church.

Seems like a great place to communicate with YXZ enthusiasts that might spot my YXZ someplace. More than happy to listen if you have any constructive advice on a better place to look.

sry greg if i came off harsh. Youre right the criminal mind is predatory ive learned in my years. as such things i absolutely NEVER do. Loan tools, vehicles or money unless i expect to never get back (gift) ...not even a mini-bike.

I'm confused, how did scumbag #1 get his hands on your buggy to begin with?

This whole story seems off from the get go. My guess is that machine has been parted out or joy ridden and torched. The expensive lesson is carry insurance and don't leave your shit so easily accessible. I'll keep my eyes open for it as I live next door in PA.

Scumbag#1 (good name :) broke into a storage building where my YXZ was kept. Thank you for keeping a lookout for it.

Had planned on heading over to Mines to Meadows, did you ever ride there?

I have ridden there mainly on dirtbikes though. If you can catch it during the week it's not bad. It tends to be a cluster on the weekends. It's cool driving underground in the mine though.
