A dealer here in south Texas is suppose to be getting one delivered today. In transit as I type.

I'm still not sure they are out. Certain shops, and maybe some select people might have them, but that's about it.

Even if some dealers are getting their first one this weekend chances are they will keep it so that customers can actually see and touch it in person. My dealer said he's expecting the first shipment for his customers that are on the waiting list in another week or two.

I just put this thread up because from what I hear some dealers out west r going to start receiving 1 or 2 per dealer starting today. And was hoping that people were going to maybe pick some up for the weekend.

Talked to my dealer n he said as soon as they come in they will put together that day for the customer they have sold 4 already n when the 1st one comes in he will call me so that I get my ass down there to see it. Because the customers want these things as soon as the dealer gets them. So yes I am on 24 7 call, So when I get the call I am dropping everything because its a 2 hr ride. But he isn't expecting any like u said for another week or 2.

So much speculation and here say! Damn Yamaha why do you torture us! We've waited years and intensely all summer for Sept 1, then it's gonna be another 3 months till they are available to purchase? WTF?

I don't see Yamaha saying they won't be available until October, then releasing them 2 weeks early. It's gonna be like the teaser vids, but worse. People will be drooling over them why they sit on show room floors.

My local dealer has a VIN on the first unit. Should be here in Nor Cal Tuesday. It's spoken for and they are doing the prep and delivering, same day. It will never hit the floor. I don't put a lot of weight into the following statement from them but they said they will get the one this week and then nothing else until late Oct. As I understand it, the VIN is declared to dealer for flooring purposes when it hits the road for delivery. I presume they pay the manufacturer for everyday they possess it as unsold. That's the way it used to work, anyway. I had hoped they were going to get a few at a time.

They are a moderate volume dealer. I suspect it might be different for high volume shops.

Here in Boise my dealer is getting 8 LE models in October. I'm first on list from over two months ago. But we will get orange if we go through with it. So won't see ours till December.

Good news is, we will know a lot more about the vehicle by Dec, so it makes the decision a lot easier.

Well said that's why I am waiting till Feb. Sooner the better these YXZ's come out so that a lot of customers can get some seat time in this thing so we all know everything about them. In all types of terrain. This waiting really sucks!
