Im a Jeep guy and bigger is always better unless your Jeep aint ready (Gears, lift and HP) Just bought my first 2019 YXZ SS SE yesterday. Gonna need tires soon. I run hard pack open desert terrain with some Mtn trails. Running stock MAXXIS big horns. Is bigger just buying me more clearance? any other value? Doesn't that lift/change center of gravity? I am not planning much rock crawling.

I have the same year SS, it loves 30 inch tires. I have a set of desert explorers for sand/hardpack and a set of 30" tensors for everything else. Any thing taller will rub. Here is a picture of the desert explorers next to the stock maxxis. Was just out ripping around on sand dunes and hardpack trails today in Moses Lake, WA with the canams and rzr's they were all impressed by how I could not only keep up but lose them in a few places.
