Hey all. New from Ohio. First ride in 85 was a Suzuki quad sport. Rode the hell out of that thing as a kid. Got back into quads in 09 with a Raptor 700. Bought a Rzr 800 in 2011. Traded for a Rzr Xp 900 in 2012, and finally a Rzr Xp 1000 in late 2013. Can't wait to see the new Yamaha. My 1000 is a piece of garbage. Been through a front diff, 2 primary clutches, tie rod ends, ball joints, bushings, and 2 oil leaks. Fun when it runs, but wanting some Yamaha quality. That's my intro.

Welcome to the forum! A Suzuki King quad was my first ATV.. Great machine, never had a problem with it.
Welcome to the forum Qwknbad!! My first ATV was a Honda 110, then I jumped up to a Honda 200X. Then an Arctic Cat 500 4X4. Now I have my AC Wildcat Trail. Excited to see what Yamaha comes out with.

Welcome, bet you wish you held on to to the xp900. 2 people in our group bit on the early xp1000, neither still have it...I made a fortune selling them belts...HA. It was rough on all of us though.
Welcome to the site! Im sorry to here about your Polaris issues! What kind of riding do you do out there in Ohio?

We mainly trail ride. Several local event rides, then we trailer to Hatfield McCoy several times a year, and then Silver Lakes sand dunes in Michigan a couple times a year.

I don't miss the 900. I like the suspension on the 1000 better, plus I was a little sour on the 900 when the motor blew. Polaris replaced it even though warranty was up, due to the dealer finding a thrust washer had been installed on the crankshaft backwards.
