I am also a current Maverick owner and hoping this new Yamaha really sets itself way above the rest of the field. Not just a little better but way out in front. That's probably the only way I will make the switch.

I've owned over 20 Yamaha's since 1982, have been waiting what feels like forever for this new machine. Our 04 Rhino was great and never had a problem in 3 years and over 3000 miles. Finally gave up and bought a 2014 rzr 800 15 months ago. I have never been more disappointed. Sick of all the maintenance and crap I just sold it for the new Yamaha. Let's hope the one that started it all will put their foot down once and for all.

I was thinking the same thing except Yamaha needs to put there foot down and reclaim THEIR title as leader of the SxS world. Not by a little, but by a wide margin. Make it a walk off homerun and leeve no doubt about it. don't put it in the judges hands. a knockout or nothing!!!!!

I agree, stand it up on its ear. Then the manufacturers will have to go back to the drawing board and give us what we want! Not a warmed over commander or a bolt together RZR. We as sport riders demand more! I'm not hauling horse chit so don't feed it to me. I want mega horsepower, long travel, ground clearance, creature comforts and most of all reliability
