It sounds like the new Yamaha YXZ is starting to make the rounds to dealerships and events, and we want to hear your first hand thoughts! So if you've seen the YXZ in person or you've sat in it or you've been lucky enough to drive it, please post up here and tell us your impressions

Well after seeing a yellow one is person today it wasn't hard to go put money down. I will be getting the first blue & white one that comes in. The overall quality of the fit & finish was outstanding IMO. This car looks very well built and with plenty of room for guys 6' and over, it was an easy decision. Is it Dec yet?

Went to Chapparal today.

With the seat all the way back, to push the gas pedal all the way to the floor, I actually feel calf muscles pulling!

It has buggy like leg room!!! You sit IN the machine, not ON it like other machines.

Your legs are straight out in front of you just like a buggy!

Ergos are perfect! Seat, pedals, steering wheel, shifter, everything!

The sloped hood is bad Azz! If you set a small dasani water bottle in front of the machine on the ground, measured from the front edge of the front tire you can see it at exactly 7' away. Try that w a RZR!!!

Build quality looks killer! Engine looks bad Azz! Shifter feels like butter! Lights are bright!

And lastly, pics do ZERO justice!!!

We are def buying one to try out and test. After turkey day trip we will decide if buggies are going bye bye and if so we'll pick up another Yami.

Got a built in cooler too!

I like the orange one btw. If we can get a orange one before Nov 20th that's what we're doing but if not we'll grab a yellow one. Chapparal will have yellow ones this month btw...

Can't wait!

You mention a built in cooler, where is that located?

It's in the back of the bed right behind the drivers seat. Has a round screw on lid about 6" in diameter. Built in drain and big enough to hold about 4 water bottles plus ice. Not much BUT at least it has something!!

It was a pleasure to meet you yesterday D-Dog!! I was there and all I can say is wow.. I wasn't sold on the front end of the machine even though I put my deposit in last week, but after seeing it in person, it looks fantastic. It is put together well.. The doors shut nice and tight, the interior is extremely comfortable and almost gives you the feeling of a cockpit. I can't wait to see how it handles because the shocks and ride seemed quite stiff-- I couldn't get it to budge-- Might be good, might be bad-- Ill let you know at camp rzr when I smiling ear to ear with my yellow and black bumblebee!

Damnit 4Nines! You should've seen how big my eyes got when I read the title and thought that you actually got to sit in and drive one and were going to give us a full report on how the suspension is and what the speed in each gear was and if first gear is good enough for crawling!

For the guys lucky enough to sit in the YXZ, what are you thoughts on the seats? I'm hoping these won't need to be upgraded right away. I'm gonna miss my Twisted Stitch seats in my RZR. I've got to prioritize my upgrades and am hoping to run the stock seats at least for this season.
Can't wait to hear thoughts other than dealer input who only went for a ride.
Who's first?..
I thought the same thing that 4nines had driven it and we were about to get the scoop. So much for reading this with my breakfast!!!

LEGROOM!!!! That's what I have been wanting. I'm sold. Hoping its much better than Maverick.
I see deposits being made but what are people actually paying for these. I want the orange.
My guess is retail for a little bit. I put my deposit in and am 2nd in line but don't like the yellow anywhere near as much as the blue/white. I'm hoping for a little saturation by the time December comes along and then work my deal.

IMHO they are good. You'll be totally cool to run stock seats for as long as you want.
I'm 6'4 and was very comfortable . Seats are great and no issue at all with leg room ,
The only issue I noticed is remembering the doors open to the front . After actually seeing , setting , looking at one in person
It appears this is the real deal and like others this year Christmas will be the day dealer calls that mine has arrived.

Sweet! I don't know what I'm gonna do with all the room in the cockpit. Glad the seats are good to go!

l HAVE SEEN THE MACHINE UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL. THE ENGINEERING IS VERY WELL THOUGHT OUT. VERY EASY TO GET TO ALL OF THE ENGINE AND ELECTRONICS. VERY ROOMY IN THE COCKPIT EVEN FOR A PERSON 6'6" AND EASY ACCESS TO ALL THE CONTROLS. FOR THE MUD PEOPLE, IT'S GOING TO THROW MUD ON YOU BECAUSE OF THE FENDER DESIGN BUT IT WILL BE EASY TO SNORKEL IT. THE ONE WITH ALL THE EXTRA ACCESSORIES WAS AWESOME. IT HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO JUST LOAD UP YOUR GEAR AND GO HAVE FUN ON A LONG WEEKEND. l THINK YAMAHA IS OFF TO A GREAT START IN THE SPORT SXS RACE. AWESOME JOB YAMAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot to ad one caveat to my raving review-- The rear plastics are cool looking, but will break.. Im glad they thought of the plastics protector-- Ill have to order that as soon as they are available because theres no support or anything for them.. They are just out there-- They look great and aggressive, but one tap from my kid (he has a way of breaking EVERYTHING he touches) and its a gonner-- So yeah, everything is awesome, but be sure to get the protectors...

Cheers!
YEP, JUST ABOUT A 4" PIECE OF METAL HOLDING THE BACK OF THE REAR FENDERS ON. YOU CAN SEE THEM IN THlS PICTURE. Land vehicle Vehicle Motor vehicle All-terrain vehicle Automotive tire
