Hey guys, new to the forum here from AZ. We are just a mom and pop shop Yamaha dealer in little old Prescott Valley, AZ. If you are local here stop in and say hi! Right now we are number one in the sales district for Yamaha side by side sales and in the top 30 in the nation!

Here is a little commercial we put together for local tv:

Any inside info you can give us on their new side-by-side? Please!!!!
Would you wait on the banshee for trail riding or jump on the wolverine?
Do you have an MSRP yet?
Why will my local dealers not take a deposit?

Bama Banshee, it may be an allocation thing. Allocations are going to be small, and they are going to probably be in the higher volume stores first, unfortunately. How many Vikings and Wolverines do they sell?

I even contacted abernathys in tennessee . They move 25-50 SXS a week. Not real sure what is going on. The other one halls motorsports has five or six locations I believe. The othe one was small. They act like they do not know what I'm talking about.
Inexperience and lack of enthusiasm for the sport may be playing into that as well... For everyone elses sake, I hope Yamaha's production is up enough to supply more than just the southwest desert regions.
Down in Peoria, AZ here, Have land and trailer up in Dewey-Humbolt that i hide from the heat at haha!

Might have to come down and say hi one of these weekends.

I love the line in the commercial "could it be a side by side that outlasts the easy payment plan" that was pure genius!!!

Thx for giving us any info you had from your DSM
Have you heard anything as far as Yamaha putting out a machine for the 50" market? I believe they have 2 more releases scheduled after this one. Still holding out hope some year they will. Oh and Welcome to the Forum!!
No MSRP yet... Word from our DSM is that it is going to be a derivative of the Yamaha Nytro 1049cc triple, coming in at 1000cc or so. That though has been almost common knowledge after their teaser videos. We do also have confirmation that it WILL NOT be a belt drive! On that same note some time it seems as though sometimes our DSM is told things just to start rumors
This sounds encouraging
Bought 8 Yamahas from Outdoor Sports in the last 19 years. No Belt Drive so I just ordered the 2016 Banshee. I just hate belt drive and it would be a deal breaker on a high end UTV. Had 2 Rhino's, 2 Teryx, a Wolverine, and 3 Polaris UTV's. In over 50,000 miles on belt drive since December 2004 I have changed lots of belts. The Yamaha is the best and very easy and inexpensive to rebuild. They all work great but the Teryx is a pita to change and Polaris is expensive and difficult to rebuild, best to just replace everything every 5,000 to 8,000 miles at a cost of about $1,500. Yup I just Hate Belt Drive!! Oh and had a Honda Big Red, 2 Pioneer 500's, and 2 Pioneer 700's. Got a Pioneer 1,000 on order too and it will replace my 2016 Wolverine.

You should change your name from Hondabob to Moneybag. but you should certainly know what you like.
See ya as soon as something is available to look at, might take a few years to get the model(trail sport) i want, if the rumors are accurate of 5 models over 5 years, Wolverine, Banshee, then ????. Went to FourSeasonMS yesterday to pick up a new Ranger with a friend. No info or teaser from them, so i'll be relying on you to take my money
There was one before the Wolverine or maybe it was after it. The Banshee will be the third. So two more to go. Unless that six seater they introduced counts as one model and if that is the case there's only one more to go.

I think that was the Viking....right?
My house is paid for so I live on a small pension and save up all my SS money to buy UTV's. I sell or trade in my older ones usually a year or two old. I drive a 15 year old Ford truck and that helps.
Bob! Glad you can chime in. For everyone who doesn't know Honda Bob is a household name here in the Prescott area. He isn't kidding about the amount of miles he has under his belt. He has pioneered many of the trails in the area, and has quite a following.

GilaBanshee, we would love to set you up, send us a PM with your email. We can put you on our exclusive mailing list to keep you updated on when we will have inventory to see.
