Rekluse is just down the road from me, and said Yamaha dropped the yxz motor off with them 3 years ago. Telling them to design a clutch for it. So they put a lot of research into the design. Pretty cool I thought. Oh and dealer said they are getting 8 le yxz in October.

That is pretty cool! I know the Rekluse clutch works great in quads, should do the same in the Yamaha XYZ.
Its going to be nice not to be a public test dummy for a sxs manufacturer.

They may of had this machine in the wings for years waiting for the Rhino stuff to finish so hopefully a lot of the bugs are worked out already.
They way my trophy truck building friends explain it,, it'll be a winner.
It's the way to do it.
Having been an absolute victim of a first year rollout, I have a metric fu*k ton of faith in Yamaha doing this the right way. They have been sitting in the corner learning from all the failures and successes by the American companies for 5 years. This thing did not get built this year. It did not get 6 months of testing. It did not get a haphazard release that would send real-world testing responsibilities to the consumer.

It did come with a reputable 6 month warranty.

Nice..... I'm betting on this system being the game changer for me

They will hold their value so when the next Yami comes along the transition up may be not so painful.
Incredible popularity and it hasn't even hit the showroom floor yet.
What does a Rekluse clutch do?
It's essentially a centrifugal clutch.
Did anyone ever confirm if you can keep the gas pedal floored and shift with the Rekluse set up? I want to be able to do this. lol

Did you see the video with the driver of it in the advertisements. I think he says in one of the interviews he has been testing it for over 2 years. He will be driving it in this upcoming race season for Yamaha.
Allows clutchless shifting
The great thing about the Recluse is it lets you be in gear and at idle in a manual at the same time without stalling. Great for slow rock crawling and such in a SXS, but in the MX world its the ticket for hole shots. Heres a video of my friend using a Rekluse on his KTM 300. His bike is already in gear and ready...jump on and go.

This is a must here in the South

The Rekluse is a no brainer for me. I can see it being very beneficial in the race world.

That's about the best description I've heard yet.

I'd say no. It disengages the clutch at idle, so anything above that and the clutch will be fully engaged requiring you to let off the throttle, Or jab the clutch to shift.
wouldn't it be as simple as letting off the throttle(roll out)shift gear and back into throttle?

Yep, just a little bit of practice.
