Does anyone have the NGK stock plug type, yet? The sleds come with CR9E. They show real dyno gains of 2 - 3hp by swapping in the CR10EK.

Interesting, but somehow don't think is so easy to gain 2-3 HP more power, just by installing one point colder spark plug.....IMO

Got any links for verification on that?

So the CR10EK is a unshrouded double electrode type plug, as opposed to the CR9EB standard single electrode. Seems like a bit more spark energy would be exposed to the fuel/air mixture....

Hmmm. Might have something here.

The E3 spark plug was also recommended on the TY4stroke sight for boosted sleds as some slight gains were seen with them as well. I personally have never really been a big fan of that plug as how can anything that is that shrouded create a better ignition burn rate??? JMO
