If you had an Apex motor sitting in your shed with less than 4,000 miles on it and you are a machinist with a full metal fab shop at your disposal and you don't care about warranty would you put that in over buying turbo?

If I already had an apex sitting in my garage, I would probably throw it in there and sell the brand-new engine which will probably fetch more money than the apex. The turbo cost 4000. What could you sell the apex for. That's another way to look at it. But the sound of a four cylinder is greater than the sound of a three cylinder, and doesn't it rev to 12,000? I've Done a 5.0 swap in a Ford ranger, and there's definitely a fun factor to motor swaps but it's also a total pita.

I'd wait till warranty was up before I did it. Apex probably worth about 5k, it's an 07. With the manual tranny being separate I don't think it would be to bad of a job. Was dreaming about putting in mr RZR. Now that would have been a cobble job.

A buddy sent me a dyno sheet of this triple in the high 400hp range, I wouldn't change anything just beef up what's needed and throw on a giant snail. Time to get crazy.
