I've been running the new TBR slip on system with a Weller Racing ECU tune, and it kicks ass. The slip-on system was an easy install and gives the YXZ a deep tough sound. Without the tune I felt more power and really noticed how much faster I was hitting the rev limiter. Then I had Jason Weller do a tune / flash the ECU and this added power everywhere. I've put a couple hundred miles on it since I had the flash done and the YXZ runs perfectly. I'm very happy with this upgrade and would definitely recommend this setup to others.

I had 2 Brothers slip ons on my Maverick. Nice stuff, but was WAY to loud for me in that particular application, even with quiet cores. Ended up taking em off. May be a different case on this triple though. Would like to hear a sound clip...

I had the same concern but it's not overly loud. I can still fire it up in the morning and lug it through the neighborhood without disturbing people. Overall it sounds about 25% louder than stock, it's not like it's twice as loud and annoying the hell out of you. I ran it with no tip and you get a little bit of a deep drone after a long day, so I re-installed the end tip and like it much better. Now it just has a clean sound to it.

I think it's just that the V-Twins are going to be much more obnoxious sounding running open exhaust than the triple would ever be.

Yeah those V Twins are torque monsters but I never really like that Harley Davidson style sound they have.
Agreed. After having both, the (Weller piped and tuned) triple sounds worlds better to me. It's actually intoxicating. Lol. Most people that hear it seem to think so as well!

I had a two brothers pipe on my commander and it was a piece of poo. Way too loud and every bolt that it had on it wiggled loose after 2 short rides. Did everything I could to keep it together. Maybe the triple won't vibrate it as bad.

Those dyno sheets look very good.

I am still working out sponsorship details for our 16 season so I have yet to settle on an exhaust system. I do wonder if those dyno sheets where with the quiet core out ... Or better yet what difference the dyno sheets are with the core installed.
