I usually go for a low rumble but would give that up for the bee sound in exchange for the manual tranny. Probably just a generational thing growing up with muscle cars instead of the newer ones with the fart cans.

No cat. That is the first exhaust from DrD. Dubach Racing Development. It will always have that higher pitched whine to it partly because of the higher RPM's. This one may still have the cat converter attached and not hollowed out yet.
I think a different shaped can will also change the tone.
Looked like the cat box was still in place so I wasn't sure.No cat. That is the first exhaust from DrD. Dubach Racing Development.
Does that mean your back in the hunt for the Yami?
I can't hardly stand it! That sounds so damn good!
Not sure I will get one right away either. I would need to sell the Mav and I am not desperate to give it away. So we'll see.I'm going to wait till October of next year to buy one. The anniversary edition coming out I don't want because it cost too much for just bead locks and I don't want yellow. With the other ones coming out December half the riding season is gone already. I'll just wait one more year and find out how this thing does at superstition Too. I also think I might rent a razor 1000 for a weekend and then rent the new Yamaha for a weekend so I can get a good comparison on how each one feels and take them both to superstition and see what my thoughts are.
If you get one of these things be sure and give me a call so I can meet you out there and check it out.
