is it worth it? Is there quite a notable difference? I have a 2020 ss model. Driving that stock compard to the 17 model stock it aready seems more responsive. So with a exhaust and reflash will it be even better?

Nice how about low speeds? just more jumpy?
For an SS, no. Loading into my toy hauler no problem just creeps right up and in.

Steeper stuff does require throttle control or one foot slightly on the brake and gas at the same time. Lightweight Flywheel is "jumpy" if you wanna say that but you will get used to it and make adjustments within your driving.

Can't say for a 3 pedal...

Definitely worth it...
You should also add Mike Heinen's Ultra lightweight flywheel. Mike's probably one of the most knowledgeable people on the YXZ'S.

It's a whole new machine with both the Weller exhaust and Mike's Ultra lightweight flywheel...

Update to this. If I'm not mistaken, might need a little more clarification but Weller is offering their tune flash through the Dynojet Power Vision 3.

The DYNOJET Power Vision 3 is worth to have for many reasons. You can have 16 channel displays, 4 screens at a time. AFR/WATER TEMP/RPM, etc etc. It will log data. Offers remote tuning of sorts. Allows for storage of different maps for different elevations etc. (YOUTUBE) .... if there was option to attach video I would put one.

There are also many add ons that plug and play together with the Dynojet that are worth having! Like AutoTune! Wideband CX and others.

This is the ad I seen, and I contacted Weller to confirm availability for the YXZ, they said yes.

That def looks like a Full Throttle flywheel. I can imagine as fast as it Revs up it also Revs down. Gotta remember that.

The heavy flywheel helps RPM recovery, allows the engine not to lug during the gear transmission. The light flywheels decrease the inertia, so it gives a quick response to acceleration and deceleration.

In the sand at Glamis, I felt like a could coast less during transitions between dunes, but more "power" on command. I had to stay on the throttle a little more because of this.

In the desert, I don't feel much difference in coasting, less resistance in the road surface I guess. The YXZ does roll very easy, minimal rolling resistance.

My mpg fuel consumption did get better with the lightweight.

When I go to be boosted, I might switch back to OEM flywheel or go Heavy, time will tell.

I have the Weller and flash, absolutely love it. I ride mostly Ocotillo Wells wide open in the wash and very slow in the mud hills and have excellent response in all conditions. BTW I us a stock flywheel.

Nice I have been looking at that. Did you end up getting it and if so how do the tunes look? the one thats loaded for weller that is. sorry for the late response.

@Jlara it will look the same. Something like this. If you're interested, KRAFTWERKS is finally releasing their exhaust system. It looks badass, stainless headers and titanium muffler. It works for N/A cars and is meant to work perfect with their Supercharger systems.

I would think you will have to send in your PV3 into Weller, unless they email you the file. KRAFTWERKS emailed me the file but I did buy the Supercharger from them at the tune is specific for it.

For what it's worth. KRAFTWERKS is soon to release their exhaust that will compliment the Supercharger 👍🏼💥
