In the process of putting together these easy to install hood lifts! Front plates are being cut this week. Wondering what kind of interest there would be in the kit? Feedback much appreciated!

Damn! Do you people ride? These buggies are way to clean! Where are you riding?
Yea it’s a thing called cleaning lol. I’m in MD and this buggy is ridden hard believe me. There are way more muddy pictures than clean on my camera roll 😂😂.

Thanks. There are still a few local trails left in southern md that we ride, slowly going away though.
I too think this looks good. I’m wondering if anybody knows: won’t this decrease the amount of space between the lower front cross bar on the cage and the removable hood scoop thingy…? I can’t even get a pinky between mine at the moment and had to mod my cagewrx cage-(dicks) to get any clearance at all.

when I lifted my hood it definitely did decrease clearance. I have an LSK cage and although it is tight I can get the removable center hood section off relatively easily.
will the kit include brackets to raise the lights?
Yes sir!

My Madigan cage literally sits resting on the hood.
I lifted mine 6" without raising the headlight housing mount . I made 8 brackets. View attachment 120618 View attachment 120619

Here are some simple pictures of simple hood lift brackets. Nothing crazy, all aluminum and been on my car for over a year

Stock car vs AVIDUTV car. The car on the right has a front bumper lift and front chassis support. And 77 inch long travel kit. Dlp turbo and 33 inch tall tires.

Not that clean but it’s pretty easy for a quick clean up at over 8700 miles.

The kit consists of the front plate, upper headlight housing mount brackets, lower housing mount cross bar, and 3 upper hood area spacers.
I’m interested. When is it available and what’s the cost.
What a improvement. Never would come up with that one on my own. Less chance of larger tire scrub with taller tires. Free up the stock head lights from that low brow look and increase the lighting. Help with mud defense. And increase the approach angle.
So glad I found this thread.
Thank you.
