I keep seeing this silver talk....what silver?? Off to look for this mythical silver pic I keep hearing about.....

And no. MPI would be getting certification so the kit can be sold and installed in all 50 states, legally. It's not another production model from Yamaha.

lF THEY PUT OUT A FLAT BLACK TURBO ONE. l'M GETTING ONE.
California Environmental Protection Agency Executive Order: U-M-004-0280 has four model numbers why have they only released three models whats the wait is the trick ???

YXZ10YPSGS = Silver ???

YXZ10YPSGY = Yellow

YXZ10YPXGL = Blue

YXZ10YPXGO = Orange
EVEN IF IT IS SlLVER l COULD GET SOME BLACK GRAPHICS MAKE FOR IT TO MATCH. COME ON SILVER TURBO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Silver turbo ... sounds like another dream.
Pretty sure CARB doesn't give a shit what color it is. I don't think your assumption that those four models are for colors is accurate. And you aren't the first to post that BTW.

I don't know what the four are, none of us on here do (unless we were in the loop so to say).

It may very well be there are plans for other wheelbases and engines, which would require the four model numbers. But I can almost guarantee those aren't for colors.
YXZ10YPXGL = Blue ... l AGREE THE BLUE WOULD BE YXZ10YPXGB
I have seen the color code L used for blue in Asian wiring diagrams and other parts before so this is how I figured blue could be that model # code just speculation do to I have not seen one in person yet :(
Yamaha model numbers DO in fact contain the color of a given model. There are many sites with color code designations, and Yamaha has many variations of colors. I have absolutely no doubt we will see a Silver SE 2-seater within a few months. Look at their history with other models, it will come.
Whatever color the 4th model is, definitely does not come with a turbo as the specs are the same as the other 3.
I hope it's silver 4 seater, and not turbo otherwise i'll be pissed :eek:
I've heard mid March on the release date for the silver.
I think they might offer a discount on a MPI turbo kit like they do for the Snowmobile for the Spring Power Surge Offers but this is just me think out of the box this will not make me wait on buying YXZ but maybe others can get a MPI turbo at a better price in the future with financing if needed.

I'm surprised any manufacturer doesn't bring out the 4 seat model right away. I know around my area, I see 4 seat rzrs more than 2 seat machine. Especially the xp 1000, it seems like there are more 4 seat machines than 2 and that's the yxz's main competitor.
I'm not certain Yamaha will do 4 seater. Their attitude is bit different. They downplay the rekluse like your chick if you want it... really downplay that it's even available. They seem to be targeting the race driver and race wannabe's (like me). I could see them thinking ... "hey, you want a 4 seater wagon, they're plenty party wagons already out there. You want performance, here we are."

Maybe just my perception.
Silver would be the color I would have to have.

You hit the nail on the head here, but will Yamaha walk away from all that lettuce though?
I think Yamaha needs a sport four seat model do to they are loosing market shares in this department big time plus none popo dealers need stuff they can sell and if they stick to the five new models they have one more to show us :)
