I have been wondering how the recluse will hold up to the triple, havent found one for my raptor 700. I heard that was because they made so much torque it would self destruct..
Most Rekluse clutches are made for dirt bikes. There is a huge difference between a 250 lb, 450cc dirt bike and a 1,500 lb, 998cc SXS. Rekluse must have developed a much stronger unit to handle the additional workload. I'm guessing they've been working with Yamaha for quite a while to prepare for this.

Seems to me, if I were planning to let other, less experienced people drive my new YXZ on occasion, the Rekluse would be a really nice thing to have. If they came to a stop and forgot to push that ol' clutch peddle, the motor wouldn't stall out. I think it would come in handy for rock crawling or any other slow speed riding.
