Sequentially shifted trans doesn't need a clutch to shift.

Can you utilize this clutch to make downshifts easier ? I know with both dir and street bikes I can shift uo or down by just the feel of the motor.

But when racing both I definitely needed the clutch for down shifts.
 
yes. You clearly have the Technique down on the motor cycle. This box will be the same thing. Tim
yeah, been riding and racing them for many moons... (20 years worth!)

I would almost always upshift in road racing with out using a clutch but it seems like on a dirt bike I always tend to use the clutch shifting both ways.

I actually went to a rekluse for the endurance dirt bike racing... found it was much more user friendly when I am exhausted!

I think I will try one of these with out a rekluse first... Of course, our raced in these things are 4 hours long, so I may add the rekluse pretty quickly. LOL
