Does anyone have an update to this issue? Looks like last comment was October 2015. I was out yesterday it was about 90* and the heat was really bad, I have a minor burn on my right leg (wearing shorts) from the panel next to the trans. There is no way this should be getting hot enough to burn you.

There is another thread on this forum that gives you some solutions, just do a search and you will find it. Others are lining their panels with some heat blocking material, supposed to work great. I am going to do this as well, but here in N. Utah we will not see those temperatures until June/July.

There is additional heat shielding on the passenger side. It definitely gets hot, but not enough to bother me in blue jeans.
My biggest problem with the heat is its right next to the cup holders! The f***er warmed up both of my beers
Yep, put some ice cold water bottles in the cup holders, rode about 30 minutes, stopped for a break, hot water vs. cold.

Yesterday was the first issue being that hot. We rode for 104 miles up to Pioneer saloon in Gene Nevada and back, so things were able to get good and heat soaked. When I was able to get out of the "technical" stuff and let her run, it cooled down to normalish temps. I did see something called thermal thin on one post, just wandering how the adhesive holds up to that amount of heat.

This is my first SXS coming from Banshees, love the bikes but this thing is amazing. We have had it for 3 weeks and have 504 miles on it

Mi.
I found most of the heat was blowing thru the seams between the center console panels.

Have any of you that are having the heating problem with your
cab, have you tried running your cooling fan all the time with MPI fan mod? It keeps the water temp at or below 180 and defently keeps the heat down.

Curious too! Is there a way to hard wire the fan relay with a switch to bypass Ecu turning on and off fan at prescribed temperatures?

Yes , in the center consol there is a relay for the fan . You can ground out the yellow /red wire or add a switch to ground so you can control it.

So it will come on when the key is turned on, correct?
Yes unless you install a switch and only ground it when you want it on.

Sorry I couldn't tell that was the Flash Tune.
LOL .... you are correct, it does not say that on the screen shot, but it is FT. I addressed my fan set points with using it.

I made some changes to make my engine run cooler, I am hopeful that getting the car to run around 180 (or lower) instead of 230 will yield cooler tunnel temps.

I will be in OW this weekend, I'll post a result in this thread by Monday night.

I agree I have been having the same issue
