I installed the GYTR interior pads that go on the doors and the tunnels where your knee/leg rests. They did a great job of stopping sore/bruised knees and the benefit of significantly reducing the transfer of heat to my tunnel side leg.

@fortrdb What are you running for a windshield? I run a 1/2 windshield and realized it completely blocked off the top inlet on the hood.

After a little fiddling I found ducting air into that top inlet significantly changed the amount of heat in the tunnel.

I just ordered up a set of 19 plastic for the center hood in hopes the reshaped ducting will assist with drawing air into the tunnel. I will have to notch the windshield to fit, but thats pretty minor.

I don't use a windshield. I have pumpers installed in both machines. I like getting full air flow into the cab and the pumpers are a must for dusty environments. I love blowing by those trying to block my pass on the trail. I can easily hang right in their dust trail until the right moment emerges.... Hope your fix works to restore lost flow. Sounds like it should.

@fortrdb Dust isn't as much of an issue.

The half windshield helps that you don't take too much mud full in the face.

This was today. SWMBO and one of her riding buddies took a typical short ride, maybe 50-75 miles, usual amount of mud.
