I went with his set up and other that tightening up the high speed compression a touch on the rear it seemed to work great for me all around including high speed whoops and throwing it sideways in deep sand on barrel races etc. I didn't do any huge jumps but i never experienced botteming out or anything and it was very stable.

I used your recommended setup on my brother-in-law's yellow and he indicated a marked difference from stock. Bad for his wallet that he drove my blue with the WR setup and is spending $$ to upgrade.
 
First "simple" tip of the day

Fronts
Open your front rebound adjuster all the way open ( counterclock )
Open both hi and low speed adjuster all the way open ( counterclock )
Turn the small flat head screwdriver adjuster inward 4 to 6 full 180 turns

Rear
Turn your rebound adjusters all the way closed! ( clockwise ), then back out ( counter clock ) one click
Turn both hi and low speed adjusters all the way open. (Counter clock)

This is an easy starting point to make the car the softest and fly more level more of the time with its stock springs and valving.
Lots of variables with different drivers, including weights, of driver? Passenger and cargo. Do individual tuning from here will be a bit easier for the masses! Especially because you will only have one way to go on on the compression side! Don't even bother with rebound adjusters! They will only confuse you.
Just slowly firm it up to your taste. Only make one adjustment at a time on eather the front or rear so you know the outcome of the adjustment. Making more than one adjustment at a time will make it more difficult to know what made the car better or worse!

The WHY.
The front is under sprung, The front needs more spring to push it up and keep it up in the stroke so you can run it a bit lower travel, and use a bit more soft beginning valving.

The rear is over sprung. Probably so you can max out the 300 lb load limit and more in the rear with beer and munchies for a large party? Lol
The lower shock mounting point, and angles are far from ideal. The geometry makes it more difficult to match up valving and spring rates. But it's still doable.
With the car rear lifted, we backed off the spring collar till the springs became loose, the tighten back up only a 1/4 inch

Tip 2
If your a mostly solo driver? Or you weigh 100 lbs more than your passenger?
You should set your ride heights differently on the driver side as compared to the passenger side. And if your the twig, and your passenger out weighs you? Then you can compansate for this too.
Your car should run closer to level when your loaded. If your a big driver, your cheating yourself on your suspension on your side! Turn those spring collars downward to compansate some for your weight. You can even run the adjusters a bit firmer on the heavier side.

Moto
How much I'd a click? Never adjusted shocks before. I read somewhere that it's 1/4 turn, is that correct?

This is how it should have come from factory. It's a boon to have the option to mod it as such
 
Pound sand hangs out at the RZR forum, I don't think the mining was good over here. Yamaha spect the shocks a wee bit better than Polaris causing the sluice box to give minimal returns
 
PS I am 6'6" 285#'s. Along with this adjustment, what needs to happen for my driver side shocks to deal with "my load"? I have SS SE 2017
If you want to diel it in that precise, and nothing wrong with that, I would do it all at the left rear by increasing you preload a bit to set you level while setting and increase your low and high speed compression in just a bit. You will need to do the compression adjustments by trial and error and decide what feels the best to you so it's not diving more to one side vs the other, I would think the compression adjustments will be minimal. Don't forget you are also dealing with about 72 lbs. that varies on the right side depending on how full the gas tank is. I can tell a noticeable difference with just having a passenger or not, so you can make a difference.

this is what i run and love it, besides a click more high and low compression which helps bottoming. i have zero added weight to my car though.
 
Have not seen any post for the x2 shocks- what are ypu all runing.
Currently I am at: On the front high-speed compression 3 1/2 turns out low-speed compression for turns out high-speed rebound to turns out low-speed rebound one turn out is stock crossover supposed to be 3 7/8 inches.
On the rear high-speed compression three turns out low-speed compression degree turns out high-speed rebound to turns out low-speed rebound to turns out is stock crossover supposed to be 3 7/8 inches preload.

Still a little front end dive..
 
Im going to wait a little longer before I make any adjustments. I don't know that I have the feel engrained in my head yet of the way the stock set up is. I will ride a bit more so that when I do make small adjustments I can feel whats happening with the car
 
Hey everyone need some help.
I haven't adjusted my shocks at all since I bought it. For two reasons:
1) I wanted to get used to it and was riding more flatter trails that is usually a bit wet mud here and there (not deep mud)
2) I noticed after a while that my left rear shock was bowed . It has been for a few months and I have rode it that way as my dealer said they would replace it (that is 4 hours away )

Yesterday my cousin came by because he just got a side by side and he noticed the spring . I told him yeah they are going to replace it . Took him about 30 seconds to say "grab a jack it's just off the plate a bit"
We used the jack to relieve pressure and bam it fell right in place !

I have a few questions .
- The spring is fine but on the inside where one turn of the spring was rubbing it has grinding the paint off and wore about flat verses round (maybe 3/4" wide is all) should I still make them replace it?

- I have rode some more technical trails and when you hit some bumps that front feels way to tight . Based on what I have seen in test videos I should be able to glide over it easier .

Tomorrow I am going to Brown Mountain in NC and haven't been there on my side by side only a quad a year ago. It is more rocky technical trails so I would love to adjust the shocks today but not sure what the best setting is ?

What is the easiest way to open the front rebound and high and low then set them from there ? Same as the rear . I want to soften this up but still be able to rip through turns etc.

Any help would be great!
